Bosilliac Cottage is half a mile away from the village of Mawnan Smith which offers good local amenities with several shops, a hair dresser, gift shop, Italian restaurant and the Red Lion pub.
The busy port and harbour of Falmouth is just 4 miles away from the cottage, providing a good variety of shops, sailing and watersports facilities, beaches and interesting attractions to visit including Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. From Falmouth, there are passenger ferries to St Mawes and the Helford to enable you to enjoy the coastline from the water.
For those guests who enjoy walking, the coastal paths along the Helford Estuary and the numerous country paths and lanes surrounding Mawnan Smith are easily accessible.
The Helford River and the sandy beach at Maenporth are within a 5 minute drive where you can swim in the beautiful coves and enjoy the views across Falmouth Bay. There are many private and National Trust gardens within easy reach of Bosilliac with Glendurgan and Trebah the closest.
